Liquids Sprl

Liquids Sprl was founded in 2002 by two German entepreneurs in Bujumbura / Burundi. The idea of the business was to bottle water which would arise from the subterrainian aquiferus layer of the Tanganyika rift valley. Given the brand name of AQUAVIE™ with a great balanced taste and innovative packaging a successful product was created.

With the two partners' experience in the food industry and other successful businesses, Liquids Sprl would soon become the market leader of bottled water in Burundi. The product range of Liquids Sprl was soon widened with the introduction of Aquavie™ sparkling water which shortly became a number one seller in the country. Also a range of non carbonated ready to drink juices with the name BOOM™ were launched and soon great market demand made this product very popular especially for younger people.

Liquids Sprl's quality products would soon be supplied to the UN peacekeeping forces and export demand would rise steadily. With the development of more innovative and attractive products, Liquids Sprl strives to become leader in the beverage industry in the region.
