Boiler Consortium Africa Ltd (BCA) was initially formed in 1979 as a private company, and subsequently registered as a private limited company in 1981.

In the early years, Boiler Consortium Africa Ltd (BCA) was mainly concerned with boiler supply, installation and servicing.

Since 1985, Boiler Consortium Africa Ltd (BCA) has had a strong influence in incineration of general materials, and has of late extended to cover all special waste products i.e., clinical, surgical, pathological, all paper wastes, including packaging, polythene and wood waste.

Boiler Consortium Africa Ltd (BCA) changed its name to include 'Consortium' owing to the diverse engineering pursuits of the company.

At present Boiler Consortium Africa Ltd (BCA) has a Design division, Contracts division, Inspectorate, and an association with specialist fields, among others construction, refrigeration, power generation and general plumbing. This has enabled Boiler Consortium Africa Ltd (BCA) to offer complete turn key projects as required by many international concerns.
