Opibus originate from Sweden but have a fully Kenyan subsidiary - Opibus Ltd, operating in Nairobi. We are driven by the overwhelming result of climate change, and want to ensure that developing countries are catching up.

Building an organization with local workforce instead of imported labour contributes to the region´s development and enables capacity building. We at Opibus aims to recruit, motivate and provide a set of tools for locals which will benefit the region in the long run.

We strongly believe that a company´s foundation should be based on the strive for impact and not only economic growth. By creating a sustainable business model that actually makes a difference in the world keeps the organization focused and eager. It´s not only important to work with technology transfer but also to keep the knowledge itself within the region to mitigate dependency and encourage continued development.
