Superior Homes (Kenya) PLC

Superior Homes Kenya PLC is a real estate development company registered in Kenya. The company takes pride as the pioneers of the open-plan gated community concept in the region which is now the future for sustainable living. This was achieved through developing Greenpark Estate located in Athi River along Mombasa Road. The estate sits on 163 acres. Superior Homes purchased the land from the owners, East African Portland Cement Company Ltd in 2005 and at the same time, signed an Agreement for an option to purchase an adjacent 337 acre site.

Superior Homes was incorporated in August 2004. On 31st January 2017 Superior Homes PLC signed an agreement with Cytonn Investment which would see Cytonn acquire a 12.5% stake in Superior Homes. This partnership and the investment, will work to grow Superior Homes deal pipeline, continue delivering aspirational neighborhoods to all home owners and make a contribution to growing the Kenyan economy.

On May 12th 2017, Superior Homes transformed from a Limited Liability Company to a Public Limited Company in accordance with The Companies Act (2015) - Change of Company Type. This saw the change of name from Superior Homes Kenya Limited to now Superior Homes Kenya PLC

Construction of the first houses in Greenpark Estate was carried out in July 2007 and the first occupations were in May 2008. To date Superior Homes has constructed more than 540 houses in Greenpark with over 500 occupied. Upon completion Greenpark will consist of around 700 houses plus amenities including schools, shops and a clubhouse. Completion is planned for 2020.

Currently Superior Homes is constructing a four-star luxury hotel at Lake Elementaita.
