Fair Construction Ltd originally launched its building and civil works operations in Uganda in 1986 but was established in Rwanda in 1995. A pioneer in the indegenous large scale construction industry here in Rwanda, today Fair Construction Ltd is still one of the leading construction firms in Rwanda.

Fair Construction Ltd multi-disciplined Building Division remains one of the most trusted in the industry charged with constructing some of Kigali's most iconic structures such as:

• Rwanda Revenue and Auditor General's Head Offices
• BCDI Building (now part of ECOBANK Group)
• Kigali Institute of Science & Technology Phases 1, 2 & 3
• Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MINICOFIN) Headquarters

Fair Construction Ltd has established a local and regional reputation for delivery under any circumstances. We have been recognized, along with our international partners, for the delivery of challenging power generation plant projects in Rwanda such as:

• Kivuwatt Methane Gas Plant (25MW) for Wartsila Finland Oy
• Jabana Hydropower Plant (20.5 MW) for Wartsila Finland Oy
• 6 Micro Hydro Power Project (6MHHP) for Tianjin Mingshuo Technology Development Company Limited (MS-Tech) of China
• Rukarara (9.5MW) for ECOPOWER Sri Lanka

In addition, the following related civils construction assignments were completed for our other international partners:

• Earthworks, road works, site leveling and erosion protection in Kibuye for Contour Global, USA
• 648 kms of Fibre Optics cable for the National Fibre Backbone Project in several parts of the Country
